Distribution in the Arabian Peninsula: Oman ( Wahis 2000a), Saudi Arabia ( Walker & Pittaway 1987; Abu Zoherah et al. 1993; Gadallah & El-Barty 2011; El-Hawagry et al. 2013), United Arab Emirates ( Taylor 2010 as “possibly” C. bretonii ), Yemen ( Wahis 2000a).

Extralimital distribution: Iran, North Africa, Tropical Africa, Southern Iberian Peninsula, Turkey ( Guiglia 1955; Wahis 2000a; Wolf et al. 2009; Yildirim & Wahis 2011).
