Distribution in the Arabian Peninsula: Saudi Arabia (Wahis 2002), United Arab Emirates ( Schmid-Egger 2017), Yemen ( Kohl 1906 as Pompilus vespiformis ; Guiglia 1955; Wahis 2000a, 2002).

Extralimital distribution: Palaearctic and Afrotropical ( Kohl 1906; Guiglia 1955; Priesner 1955; Haupt 1962; Özbek et al. 2000; Wahis 2000a, 2002, 2005; Wolf 2004b, 2005; Yildirim & Wahis 2011; Ghahari et al. 2014).
