In API 20NE test, cells are positive for nitrate reduction, esculin hydrolysis, gelatinase, β -galactosidase, and assimilation of potassium gluconate and adipic acid; but negative for indole production, glucose fermentation, arginine dihydrolase, urease, and assimilation of D- glucose, L- arabinose, D- mannose, D- mannitol, N -acetyl-glucosamine, D- maltose, capric acid, malate, trisodium citrate and phenylacetic acid. Strain SCSW-6 (= NIBRBAC000508908) was isolated from a seawater sample collected from Sokcho, Republic of Korea (38°13 ʹ 42 ʺ N 128°35 ʹ 13 ʺ E) GoogleMaps .
