Diagnosis. Female macroptera. Body pale yellow, with the extreme apex of abdominal segment X abruptly dark brown. Antennae and legs pale yellow; a little more than distal third of VI, and all of VII & VIII, gray-brown. Fore wing pale.
Head with one pairs of ocellar setae; interocellar setae short, situated outside ocellar triangle; with three pairs of postocular setae ( Fig. 1 View Figs 1–3 ). Antennae 8-segmented, with forked sense cones on antennal segments III and IV ( Fig. 3 View Figs 1–3 ). Pronotum somewhat broader than long, surface transversely striate; with 6 pairs of posteromarginal setae ( Fig. 2 View Figs 1–3 ). Mesonotal median setae far ahead of posterior margin, surface transversely striate. Metascutum reticulate medially, without campaniform sensilla, metanotal median setae near at anterior margin. Spinula absent on both meso- and metasternum. Fore wing first vein with 3+3+3 setae, second vein with 4 setae; clavus with 4 marginal setae, and no discal setae. Abdominal tergite II with 3 lateral marginal setae; S1 setae reduced on tergites I–VII; S4 setae reduced on tergites VI–VIII; on V subequal to S2, and slightly shorter than S3; postmarginal craspeda present on tergites II–VIII, serrations on

Postmarginal craspeda present on sternites II–VII, absent medially on VII; tergites I–IX completely sculptured with transverse anastomosing line; sternites without discal setae; sternite II with 4 marginal setae, III–VII each with 3 pairs of marginal setae; sternite VII posteromarginal setae pairs S1 & S2 arising closer to each other than to setae pair S3 (Fig. 4).
Measurements. Length (width). Body ♀ 1115(210); head 117(87); interocellar setae 12, anteocellar setae 8; distance between interocellar setae 27; distance between hind ocelli 23. pronotum 153(136), posteroangular setae 27, posteromarginal setae 21. Fore wing 511(35), hind wing 450(30). Sternite VII, distance between setae S1– S1 14, S1– S2 12, S2– S3 47; sternite VI, distance between setae S1– S1 38, S1– S2 26, S2– S3 27. Antennal segments I–VIII length (width) as follows: I 18(23), II 26(22), III 31(18), IV 33(15), V 35(18), VI 43(13), VII 9(8), and VIII 13(5).

Male macroptera (not examined by authors). Similar to female; apex of abdomen not dark, sternites II–VIII with prominent postmarginal craspeda which is formed into large teeth on tergite VIII, craspedum on sternites interrupted at insertion of marginal setae.
