Australasian: 1) Australia ( Roberts 1970, Kolonin 2009).

Filippova (2010) included New Zealand within the geographic distribution of Ixodes fecialis , but that country is outside this tick’s range. Owen (2011) provided an uncertain record (“ Ixodes ? fecialis ”) from Papua New Guinea, and this country is provisionally excluded from the geographic distribution of Ixodes fecialis .
