Australasian: 1) Australia ( Geary et al. 2021).

Geary et al. (2021) cautioned that Ixodes cornuatus may be confused with Ixodes holocyclus and suspect that descriptions of Ixodes cornuatus , as in Jackson et al. (2002), are based on specimens of Ixodes holocyclus .
