Original data: “ Parc National de la Garamba: n° 713 (holotype ♂), paratypes ” ( Villiers 1964a: 105) .

Type: Paratype 1 ♀: “ PARATYPE ” // “ Congo belge, P. N. G. Miss. H. De Saeger Km 17, 10- V- 1950 Réc. H. De Saeger. 504” // “ Ectomocoris xanthopus v. scutellatus n. A. Villiers det. 195 ” [hw Villiers] ( Fig. 22B ) .

Type locality: Parc National de la Garamba [ Garamba National Park , DR Congo] .

Current status: Unavailable, published as infrasubspecific after 1960 ( ICZN 1999, Art. 15.2).

Remarks: The holotype and another paratype are preserved in RMCA.
