Description
Sorting area narrow, tapering posteriorly to pointed tip; left margin of sorting area with slight bulge; anterior flap, crescentic pads lacking; glandular pad forming small mound projecting slight distance posterior to gastric shield; single digestive gland duct opening at left of glandular pad; accessory pads, caecum lacking; typhlosoles unfused.
Remarks
Both scaliolids examined were preserved in formalin and were not in good condition. Given the poor quality of this material, only limited observations were possible, but were consistent for the two species examined.
