Remarks. G.O. Sars (1883) originally described this species as Promysis pusilla , where he in 1885, transferred the species to Anchialus pusillus . And in 1910, Hansen revised several genera in Gastrosaccinae and placed A. pusillus in his newly established Pseudanchialina . This species is very similar to P. inermis , however, they can be distinguished by the following characters: in P. pusilla , the rostrum is rounded and lateral margins of the telson is armed with 3–5 spines, while in P. inermis , the rostrum is subtriangular and the lateral margins of the telson armed with 6–9 spines ( Hansen 1910).
