Records. Lizard Island: Lagoon (14°40′S 145°27′E) AM W.20234.

Comments. Hutchings & McRae (1993) examined the type material and provide a comprehensive description of this species and extended the known range of this species from the type locality of Port Molle, Queensland to Lizard Island.
