Diagnosis: Six eyes, anterior row nearly straight, laterals contiguous; or degenerate to eyeless. Labium wider than long. Colulus nearly equilateral-pentagon. The abdomen with an approximately “w” shaped, sclerotized ridge anterodorsally. Male palpal tibia generally with a trichobothrium dorsally; cymbium usually with an apophysis prolaterally; bulb oval, embolus simple. Female genital area generally with two rows of setae: on epigynal plate and posterior to epigastric furrow; spermatheca unpaired tube-shaped, in some species swollen distally.
