Specimen Data: COLOMBIA. Ƥ, Tolima. Ibague, Cay, 1988, N. A. Canal & R. Nieto, McPhail Trap (MEN- UT). Ƥ, Tolima. Ibague, Cañadas, 1370 m, V.1999, M. Suarez, McPhail Trap (MEN-UT). Ƥ, Tolima. Cajamarca, Pan de Azucar, 1750 m, III.1998, M. Suarez, McPhail Trap (MEN-UT).
This species was known from Costa Rica and Panama ( Norrbom, 2004). Specimens collected have the ocellar seta normal size, scutal vittae withe, katepisternal seta long and thin; one specimen has wing 9.0 mm long, 3.7 mm wide; oviscape 4.33 mm long, spiracles at basal 0.92 mm, aculeus curved 3.15 mm long, 0.74 mm wide, aculeus tip 0.04 mm long.
