Material examined. Holotype: ♂, Guangzhou ( Canton ), Guangdong, China, other information unknown. The type material is deposited in Shanghai Entomological Museum, Chinese Academy of Science (Shanghai Institute of Entomology, Academia Sinica).
Distribution. China (Guangdong).
Discussion. We examined the holotype of Xizicus (Xizicus) juxtafurcus ( Xia & Liu, 1990) and provide some illustrations of important morphological characters. Up to now, only the holotype of Xizicus (Xizicus) juxtafurcus is known and we have not collected any added specimens.
