Proarna dactyliophora Berg 1879: 143 View in CoL . (Tucumán, Argentina)

REMARKS. This is the first of the smallest (body length less than 16 mm) species of Proarna found in Bolivia. It can be distinguished from P. praegracilis Berg, 1881 by the lack of infuscation along the nodal line of the fore wing, the proportionately longer fore wings (greater than 19 mm) and more elaborate piceous markings particularly within the sutures.

DISTRIBUTION. The species has been reported from Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Paraguay, and Venezuela ( Metcalf 1963a; Sanborn 2011b; 2013; Sanborn & Heath 2014).
