Proarna guttulosa ( Walker, 1858b) View in CoL new record
Cicada guttulosa Walker 1858b: 20 View in CoL . (unknown locality)
REMARKS. This is the largest of the Bolivian species of Proarna with some females reaching body lengths of 31 mm or more. The costal margin is unique in for the Bolivian species of Proarna in that it is curved rather than straight from the base. The size of the species combined with the curved costal margin make the species fairly easy to distinguish.
DISTRIBUTION. The species has been reported from Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and South America ( Metcalf 1963a; Sanborn 2013).
