New material. 2 females (slide number NJAUAcariEri280), from Dendrobenthamia japonica var. chinensis (Osborn) Fang (Cornaceae) , The Foping National Natural Reserve, Foping County, Shaanxi Province, P. R. China, 33°30'48' N, 107°58'52' E, elevation 766m, 5 September 2004, coll. Xiao-Feng Xue and Zi-Wei Song.
Hosts. Dendrobenthamia japonica var. chinensis (Osborn) Fang (Cornaceae) , Liquidambar styraciflua L. ( Hamamelidaceae ).
Relation to host. Vagrant.
Distribution. China (Henan, Shaanxi), USA.
