Diagnosis. Hypandrium deeply cleft posteriorly in the middle; outer corner of each posterior process extended as a slender, pointed apophysis; mesal lateral processes short, wide proximally, narrowing distally ( Fig. 115 View FIGURES 112–117 ). Differing from the other species in the group by the shape of the hypandrium, and by the shape of the endophallic sclerites ( Fig. 117 View FIGURES 112–117 ).

Male. Color. Body pale brown. Head pattern ( Fig. 114 View FIGURES 112–117 ), vertex light brown; front with brown spots; an ochre transverse band between the inner border of each compound eye below the lower edge of the ocellar triangle to the epistomal sulcus; a cream diagonal band from the inner border of each compound eye to the epistomal sulcus at the level of the antennal fossae. Compound eyes black, ocelli hyaline, with ochre centripetal crescents. Labrum, anteclypeus, postclypeus and mandibles dark brown. Genae dark brown. Postgenae light brown. Antennae: scape brown; pedicel and flagella pale brown, flagellomeres 1–4 with apices cream. Maxillary palps: Mx1 cream, Mx2–4 dark brown. Tergal lobes of meso- and metathorax dark brown, with light brown edges. Thoracic pleura light brown with large ochre areas. Legs: coxae with small ochre spots basally, fore- coxae, trochanters and femora brown; coxae, trochanters and femora of mid- and hind- legs pale brown; femora with two brown spots; tibiae and tarsi brown. Wings hyaline ( Figs 112–113 View FIGURES 112–117 ). Forewing pterostigma hyaline, with large proximal and distal dark brown bands; a slender, irregular submarginal pale brown band from R4+5 to areola postica; a slender brown band from Cu1 to wing margin, veins with a brown spot at wing margin. Hindwings veins with brown spots at wing margin. Abdomen light brown to cream, with subcuticular ochre spots. Clunium pale brown. Hypandrium dark brown. Epiproct and paraprocts light brown.

Morphology. Head ( Fig. 114 View FIGURES 112–117 ): H/MxW: 1.47; H/d: 3.96; IO/MxW: 0.73. Vertex slightly above the level of the upper border of the compound eyes. Outer cusp of lacinial tips broad, with six short denticles. Mx4/Mx2: 1.25. Forewings ( Fig. 112 View FIGURES 112–117 ): L/W: 2.42. Pterostigma: lp/wp: 4.20, areola postica tall, wide, apically rounded: al/ah: 1.43, R4+5 sinuous, M four–five-branched, M4 forked proximally. Hindwings ( Fig. 113 View FIGURES 112–117 ): l/w: 2.74; M three-branched. Hypandrium ( Fig. 115 View FIGURES 112–117 ), each posterior process with a subapical macrosetae on inner margin, setose as illustrated; phallosome Y-shaped anteriorly, side struts slender; external parameres wide, apices rounded, bearing pores ( Fig. 117 View FIGURES 112–117 ); two pairs of endophallic sclerites, anterior and lateral pair fused, laminar and wide; mesal pair proximally wide, processes of mesal sclerite long, distally acuminate. Paraprocts ( Fig. 116 View FIGURES 112–117 ) robust, almost triangular, with distal setal field and macrosetae as illustrated, sensory fields with 26 trichobothria on basal rosettes. Epiproct ( Fig. 116 View FIGURES 112–117 ) semioval, with short and long setae, two lateral macrosetae, and a posterior field of microspicules.
