Description: Male: Body medium-sized, but very robust. Frons flat, almost square ( Fig. 2A View FIGURE 2 ). Fastigium of vertex conical, with longitudinal furrow, slightly protruding over the edges of the antennae socket ( Figs. 2A, B View FIGURE 2 ). Anterior margin of pronotum slightly convex, posterior margin broadly rounded. Pronotum broad, not granulated. The transverse sulci fine, but rather sharply cut, the rear sulcus slightly behind the middle and flatly curved. The two sulci merged at each side of lateral lobe. Lateral lobes deeper than broad. Pronotum ridged between anterior transverse groove and anterior margin ( Figs. 2B, C View FIGURE 2 ). The ventral edge of prosternum unarmed. Meso- and metasternum strongly transverse, the former with entire, non-crenellated anterior margin and lateral margin ( Fig. 2D View FIGURE 2 ). Tegmina short, isosceles triangular shaped ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 ), the distance of Rs to R 1.5 times longer than Rs to M. M is closer to Cu than Rs ( Fig. 2E View FIGURE 2 ). Rs arising from the R at the base. Hind wings shorter than fore wings, transparent.Anterior femur ventrally with 2–5 inner spines, middle femur ventrally with 4–7 inner spines, hind femur ventrally with 7–9 inner spines, inside of hind femur unicolorous ( Fig. 2H View FIGURE 2 ). Width of epiproct nearly equal to length and slightly concave apically ( Fig. 2F View FIGURE 2 ). Male cerci straight, stout and short, apically sharply incurved and acute. Male subgenital plate apically stalk-shaped, the styli relatively long and narrow, about twice as long as the width, and subacute at its distal part ( Fig. 2G View FIGURE 2 ).
Female: Little difference between the size of females and males. The epiproct long tongue-shaped and slightly concave terminally. Ovipositor robust and short, nearly as long as length of the hind femur, with a straight dorsal and curved ventral edge, the former finely denticulate, the tip area with 2–3 fine, sharp angled folds ( Fig. 2J View FIGURE 2 ). Subgenital plate relatively small, sclerous part split into 2 basal panels and 1 apical lobe, panels are not specialized, the lobe with emarginated apex ( Fig. 2I View FIGURE 2 ).
