Type species: Scorpiops asthenurus Pocock, 1900 .
Diagnosis: Trichobothrium Eb3 on the external surface of the chela located between trichobothria Dt and Est. Telson with an annular ring at the juncture of the vesicle with aculeus. Three pairs of lateral eyes. 17-21 external trichobothria and 7-18 ventral trichobothria on pedipalp patella. Ventral surface of manus with 4 trichobothria.
