Type material: Holotype: male, Mt. Jianfengling (18°44.611′N, 108°50.593′E, alt. 959 m), Ledong County, Hainan Island, China, 14 May 2011, leg. Yuanye Zhou. Paratypes: 1 male, 2 females (IZCAS), same data as holotype.
Etymology. The specific name is from Latin uncinatus (hooked, uncinate), in reference to the distal shape of male patellar apophysis; adjective.
Diagnosis. Male can be distinguished from all known congeners by the shape of patellar apophysis ( Figs 245, 246 View FIGURES 245 – 248 , 250, 251 View FIGURES 249 – 252 ). Female can be distinguished from I. tumida sp. nov. by the shape of the sclerotized region on epigyne ( Figs 247 View FIGURES 245 – 248 , 253; irregular and less sclerotized in I. tumida sp. nov., Figs 234 View FIGURES 232 – 235 , 240 View FIGURES 240 – 244 ); and the details of vulva ( Figs 248 View FIGURES 245 – 248 , 254).
Description. Male ( Figs 245, 246 View FIGURES 245 – 248 , 249–252 View FIGURES 249 – 252 , 255): Total length 2.05, PL 1.0, PW 0.85, OL 1.05, OW 0.65. Eye sizes: AME 0.3, ALE 0.17, PME 0.03, PLE 0.15, AER 0.9, PER 0.8, EFL 0.7. Legs: I 1.9 (0.55, 0.3, 0.45, 0.35, 0.25), II 1.6 (0.5, 0.25, 0.35, 0.3, 0.2), III 1.55 (0.45, 0.2, 0.3, 0.35, 0.25), IV 2.25 (0.7, 0.3, 0.55, 0.45, 0.25); formula: 4123.
Dorsal prosoma light brown, with dark sides, covered with brown and white setae. Clypeus height 0.15, Clypeus gray brown, covered with brown setae. Fovea, cervicle and radial grooves unclear. Chelicerae small and yellow, with two promarginal teeth, retromargin with five teeth. Endites, labium and sternum yellow. Leg I with black longitudinal stripes. Metatarsus I with two ventral spines. Opisthosoma cylindrical and black; anterior and posterior margins covered with white and brown setae; ventral opisthosoma light brown. Anterior spinnerets black, shorter and stronger than posterior ones. Posterior spinnerest proximally black, and distally white. Palp ( Figs 245, 246 View FIGURES 245 – 248 , 249–252 View FIGURES 249 – 252 ): Patellar apophysis long, nearly reaching tip of bulbus, with unciform apophyses proximally and distally. Compound teminal apophysis long, bifurcated medially, with membranaceous margin. Embolus long and curved distally, with serrated margin in prolateral view. Seminal duct thin, visible in ventral view.
Female ( Figs 247, 248 View FIGURES 245 – 248 , 253, 254, 256, 257): Total length 2.4, PL 1.2, PW 0.9, OL 1.2, OW 1.0. Eye sizes: AME 0.3, ALE 0.2, PME 0.03, PLE 0.2, AER 1.0, PER 0.95, EFL 0.7. Opisthosoma oval, yellowish brown, with four grayish black latitudinal stripes. Other characters similar to those of male. Epigyne ( Figs 247 View FIGURES 245 – 248 , 253): moderately sclerotized, longitudinal axis heavily sclerotized. Vulva ( Figs 248 View FIGURES 245 – 248 , 254): complicated, with folded and menbranaceous copulatory ducts. Spermathecae at the middle of vulva, connect to an arched sclerite.
Distribution. The species is known only from the type locality ( Fig. 258 View FIGURE 258 ).
