NKUGW012 ♂, GW15082 ♂, GW15083 ♀.

Diagnosis. The new species can be distinguished from its congeners by the costal margin of the forewing with a faint brown spot at distal 1/3. It is similar to S. callopis Meyrick, 1913 in the male genitalia, but can be distinguished by the gnathos with a small medioapical process; and in the female genitalia by the appendix bursae with about ten denticles basally. In S. callopis , the forewing has two ochreous yellow fasciae; the gnathos lacks a medioapical process; and the appendix bursae has more than 60 denticles in the female genitalia. The new species is also similar to S. paradiplaspis sp. nov. in the male genitalia, but can be distinguished by the gnathos with a small process medioapically, the valva narrowed to rounded apex distally, and the sacculus projected at dorsal 3/5; in the female genitalia by the corpus bursae with a bow-shaped signum and the appendix bursae with ten large denticles basally. In S. paradiplaspis sp. nov., the gnathos lacks a small process medioapically, the valva almost uniformly wide to obtuse apex, and the sacculus is smooth dorsally; the corpus bursae has a filiform signum and the appendix bursae has 25 small denticles basally.

Description. Adult ( Fig. 17 View FIGURES 13‒19 ). Wingspan 15.0‒16.0 mm. Head with frons yellowish white; vertex brown; oc- ciput ochreous yellow. Labial palpus yellowish white on inner surface, yellowish brown on outer surface. Antenna yellowish brown, with dark brown scales on posterior margin of scape. Thorax and tegula dark brown. Forewing dark brown, with metallic luster; costal margin with a faint brown spot at distal 1/3; fringe dark brown. Hindwing brown; fringe greyish brown. Legs pale yellow, with exceptions; foreleg with tibia and tarsus blackish brown on outer surface; midleg with tibia with yellow bristles at middle and apex dorsally, tarsus blackish brown at apex; hindleg with tibia with yellowish brown bristles at apex, tarsus dark brown on dorsal surface, with yellowish brown bristles at apices of basal two tarsomeres. Abdomen dark yellowish brown on dorsal surface; yellowish white on ventral surface.

Male genitalia ( Fig. 42 View FIGURES 39‒45 ). Uncus wide at base, with long setae laterally, gradually narrowed to apex, apex blunt, 1/4 width of base. Gnathos lingulate, with a small process medioapically ( Fig. 42a View FIGURES 39‒45 ). Tegumen with height twice length of uncus. Valva sub-rectangular, narrowed to rounded apex distally, length approximately 2.4 times of maxi- mum width; inner process short, papillary; costa concave at base, projected at basal 1/4; sacculus approximately 3/5 length of valva, projected at dorsal 3/5, concave beyond middle on ventral margin. Vinculum narrowly banded; saccus half length of uncus, sub-triangular, narrowly rounded at apex. Juxta elliptical; anellar lobes elongate oval, 1.5 times length of juxta, with short setae. Aedeagus 1.3 times length of valva, basal 2/3 almost uniformly wide, with a sclerotized plate near base, distal 1/3 gradually narrowed; distal process 1/3 length of aedeagus, slender, clubbed; cornutus absent.

Female genitalia ( Fig. 63 View FIGURES 62‒66 ). Papillae anales longer than wide, with short setae. Intersegmental membrane between papillae anales and eighth abdominal segment approximately 2.5 times length of papillae anales. Apophyses posteriores approximately twice length of apophyses anteriores. Eighth segment straight on posterior margin, with long setae; eighth tergite produced to a rectangle anterolaterally; eighth sternite produced anteriorly. Antrum funnel-shaped, weakly sclerotized. Ductus bursae approximately 1.2 times length of corpus bursae, gradually widened to corpus bursae. Corpus bursae sub-rounded; signum bow-shaped, placed at middle, serrate on anterior margin. Appendix bursae originating from transition of corpus bursae and ductus bursae, roundly dilated and with about ten large denticles basally; bulla roundly inflated, located beyond middle; ductus seminalis narrow, with dense granules distally.

Distribution. China (Yunnan).

Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Latin delitescens , referring to the faint pale brown spot in the forewing.
