Diagnosis. This species is characterized by the forewing having two white speckles, in the male genitalia by the gnathos with a horn-shaped process apically, and in the female genitalia by the corpus bursae with two sub-rhombic signa.

Description. Adult ( Fig. 21 View FIGURES 20‒26 ). Wingspan 9.5‒10.0 mm. Head with frons silvery white; vertex blackish grey; occiput black. Labial palpus yellowish white on inner surface, ochreous brown on outer surface except second segment blackish brown basally. Antenna with scape brown; flagellum yellowish brown alternated with black. Thorax and tegula white, tinged with blackish brown in basal half. Forewing dark brown, with purple metallic lustre; with two white markings: basal patch occupying basal 1/4 length of wing, with a black stripe tinged with white scales extending from base between costal margin and fold narrowed to half length of basal patch anteriorly, with a short black streak at proximal base of dorsal margin; postmedian fascia from costal margin between middle and basal 3/5 slightly widened to dorsal margin; fringe brown. Hindwing and fringe greyish brown. Legs dark brown dorsally, greyish white ventrally, with exceptions: mid tibia with purplish brown bristles at middle and apex dorsally; hind tibia with long greyish white bristles at apex dorsally, mixed with purplish brown, hind tarsus with greyish white bristles at apices of basal two tarsomeres. Abdomen dark grey on dorsal surface; greyish white on ventral surface.

Male genitalia ( Fig. 46 View FIGURES 46‒51 ). Uncus wide at base, narrowed to apex, with long setae laterally, distal 1/3 clubbed in front view, beak-shaped in lateral view. Gnathos broad at base, with a horn-shaped process apically. Tegumen with height approximately twice length of uncus. Valva subparallel from base to cucullus; cucullus kidney-shaped, oblique upward distally, obtuse on ventral margin, rounded at apex; costa sub-rectangular basally; sacculus 2/3 length of valva, uniformly banded, concave near base on ventral margin, blunt at apex, slightly free from valva. Vinculum narrowly banded; saccus obtusely rounded on anterior margin, 1/4 length of uncus. Juxta rounded; anellar lobes elliptical, about same length as juxta, with short setae. Aedeagus 1.3 times length of valva, almost uniformly wide in basal 2/3, thereafter tapered to apex, with a sclerotized plate at base, with numerous small spicules ranging from basal 1/6 to 3/4; distal process clubbed, 1/3 length of aedeagus; cornutus absent.

Female genitalia ( Fig. 66 View FIGURES 62‒66 ). Intersegmental membrane between papillae anales and eighth abdominal segment approximately twice length of papillae anales. Apophyses posteriores approximately 1.5 times length of apophyses anteriores. Eighth segment straight on posterior margin, with long setae; eighth tergite rectangular; eighth sternite produced anteriorly. Antrum bowl-shaped. Ductus bursae almost uniform, longer than corpus bursae. Corpus bursae elongate oval; with two small, sub-rhombic signa, each with a sclerotized median ridge, length 1/3 median width of corpus bursae. Ductus seminalis originating from transition of ductus bursae and corpus bursae, elongate tubular.

Distribution. China (Hainan); Myanmar, Java ( Meyrick 1933: 432).
