Material examined. CHINA, Zhejiang: 1♂, Kaishanlaodian, Mt. Tianmu , 1140 m, 17.VIII.1999, leg. HH Li, slide No. GW 13068 .

Diagnosis. This species is diagnostic by the forewing with a large whitish yellow patch occupying basal 1/4; in the male genitalia by the sub-rounded juxta, the elliptical anellar lobes and the aedeagus with numerous spicules ranging from basal 1/6 to 2/3.

Description. Adult ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 3‒12 ). Wingspan 12.0 mm. Head with frons and vertex yellow; occiput blackish brown. Labial palpus yellowish white, third segment brown in distal half on outer margin.Antenna yellowish brown, except scape blackish brown along posterior margin. Thorax and tegula with anterior half blackish brown, posterior half pale yellowish brown. Forewing greyish brown; with a large whitish yellow patch occupying basal 1/4 of wing, with a purplish brown spot at base of costal margin; fringe pale brown. Hindwing and fringe pale yellowish brown. Legs pale yellow; foreleg with tibia and tarsus dark yellowish brown on outer surface; midleg with tibia brown dorsally, with yellowish white bristles at middle and apex; hindleg with tarsus with yellowish white bristles at apices of basal two tarsomeres. Abdomen grey.

Male genitalia ( Fig. 35 View FIGURES 33‒38 ). Uncus wide at base, gradually narrowed to middle, distal half narrow, beak-shaped in lateral view. Gnathos triangular, wide at base, narrowed to pointed apex. Tegumen with height 1.5 times length of uncus. Valva wide at base, narrowed to cucullus; cucullus sub-elliptical, slightly narrowed to rounded apex, straight on dorsal margin, obtuse on ventral margin; costa sub-quadrate; sacculus narrowly banded, 3/5 length of valva, concave at middle on ventral margin, apex blunt, free from cucullus. Vinculum narrowly banded; saccus V-shaped, approximately 1/6 length of uncus. Juxta sub-rounded; anellar lobes elliptical, about same length as juxta, with short setae. Aedeagus same length as valva, basal 2/3 uniform, distal 1/3 gradually narrowed; with a sclerotized plate near base, with numerous spicules between basal 1/6 and 2/3; distal process slenderly clubbed, rounded at apex, 1/3 length of aedeagus.

Female unknown.

Distribution. China (Zhejiang); India.

Notes. This species is newly recorded for China.
