Most common are isolated wings of blattoid insects (cockroachoids), e.g. MHK 82638 – MHK 82644. Some of them belong to the family Spiloblattinidae (Pl. 1, Figs 1, 4), which are very important for Late Carboniferous and Early Permian biostratigraphy in the whole Euramerican realm (see below and Schneider and Werneburg 2006, 2012, Schnei- der et al. 2013). As known so far, the entomofauna of the Ploužnice horizon show the typical late Stephanian composition ( Schneider 1983).
