Distribution:— India [Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Sikkim], Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Malesia; 0‒1300 m.
Notes:—Two sheets at Leiden of Jambosa syzygioides Miquel are likely to have been consulted by Miquel. We have nominated Anon. s.n. [barcode L0822705] as the lectotype because of its better floral material.
