Description

SIZE. Habitus ( Fig. 90A View Fig ), length 0.80 mm.

COLOUR. Yellow.

HEAD. With a shallow median depression between the eyes, width across eyes 0.24 mm; antennomeres III–XI length 0.41 mm; mentum as Fig. 4A. View Fig

PRONOTUM. Length 0.19 mm, width 0.36 mm, very sparsely pubescent, without foveolae or foveae; lateral margins sharply angled medially, almost parallel-sided to rectangular (rounded) hind angles, anterior angles marked by a swelling of the lateral border, border not extending onto the posterior margin which has an emargination opposite the scutellum ( Fig. 90B View Fig ).

ELYTRA. Length 0.54 mm, width 0.48 mm, pubescent, shallowly foveate.

MESOVENTRITE. Medial extension of collar wide almost as wide as mid-keel at termination; mid-keel lateral margins concave, strongly widened anteriorly before joining collar and posteriorly with carinae joining mesocoxal anterior borders, sharply raised medially before keel; keel with ± four setae parallelsided to a blunt termination beyond the interruption point of the mesocoxal margins; mesoventral lateral margins serrate in posterior half, deep pits present at junction between collar and humeri which may be perforations; humeri wide, sharply toothed ( Fig. 90C View Fig ).

METAVENTRITE. Length 0.13 mm, female with disc simple, male with distinctive pattern of radiating setae in triangular, medially depressed area, distance across short triangular spines 0.11 mm; posterior margins of mesocoxal cavities serrate.
