Specimens examined. Holotype: ♂ ( SCAU, No. 120657), CHINA: Mengla, Xishuangbanna , Yunnan, 600 m, ex tussock, 23.iv.2007, JJ Gao . Paratypes: CHINA: 6♂ 6♀ (2♂ 2♀ in KIZ; 2♂ 2♀ in SCAU, Nos 120658-65), same data as holotype, 21–24.iv.2007, HW Chen, JJ Gao ; 2♂ 1♀ ( SEHU), Menglun, Xishuangbanna , Yunnan, 800 m, ex tussock, 17.iv.2007, JJ Gao, F Zhao .
Diagnosis. Aedeagus composed of 2 pairs of rod-like processes, and with 4 strongly sclerotized projections on each side and several arista-like spinule (Fig. 30).
Description. Male and female: Pedicel brown; first flagellomere black. Palpus yellow basal 1/3, black distal 2/3. Katepisternum brown on upper 2/3, yellow on lower 1/3. Legs brown, white on basal part of fore femur and all knee joints, yellow on 2nd to 5th tarsomeres of all legs. Sternites brown. Male terminalia: Epandrium with approximately 14 setae near posterior to ventral margin on each body-side (Fig. 27). Cercus with sporadic pubescence dorsally (Fig. 27). Plate between hypandrium and aedeagus lacking pubescence (Fig. 30).
Measurements. BL = 2.38 mm in holotype (range in 4♂ 5♀ paratypes: 2.25–2.31 mm in ♂, 2.06–2.78 mm in ♀); ThL = 1.19 mm (1.09–1.13 mm in ♂, 1.00– 1.34 mm in ♀); WL = 1.92 mm (1.76–1.90 mm in ♂, 1.78–2.33 mm in ♀); WW = 1.08 mm (1.02–1.04 mm in ♂, 0.96–1.28 mm in ♀). Indices: arb = 8/7 (7–9/6–8), avd = 0.73 (0.76–0.87), adf = 1.36 (1.18–1.64), flw = 2.00 (1.82–2.00), FW/HW = 0.37 (0.35–0.40), ch/o = 0.08 (0.08–0.09), prorb = 1.05 (1.08–1.21), rcorb = 0.71 (0.75–0.89), vb = 0.30 (0.22–0.32), dcl = 0.41 (0.39– 0.53), presctl = 0.59 (0.47–0.72), sctl = 1.56 (1.52–1.61), sterno = 0.84 (0.76–0.94), orbito = 2.29 (2.00–2.60), dcp = 0.21 (0.18–0.21), sctlp = 1.11 (1.05–1.20), C = 1.80 (1.69–1.90), 4c = 1.30 (1.20–1.38), 4v = 1.74 (1.58–1.86), 5x = 1.18 (1.08–1.33), ac = 10.00 (7.00–10.00), M = 0.57 (0.50–0.62), C3F = 0.65 (0.62–0.73).
