Diagnosis. Dilophotes bhutanensis sp. n. is the only Himalayan Dilophotes species with a light orange pronotum and elytra. Eyes small, interocular distance 1.41 times maximum eye diameter. Antennae slightly serrate. Maxillary palpi slender. Pronotum 1.33 times wider than long. Frontal margin widely rounded, frontal angles inconspicuous, lateral margins almost straight, posterior margin strongly convex in middle and posterior angles acutely projected. Pronotal disc surface light orange, shiny, with dense, brightly orange pubescence. Disc with longitudinal costa reaching middle of disc, then inconspicuous. Scutellum black with dark pubescence, slightly emarginate posteriorly. Elytra slender, flat, each elytron with three longitudinal costae. Costa 1 reaching to middle of elytral length, absent apically. Male genitalia slender, with complex, sclerotized internal sac. Lower plate apically dentate, dentate margin straight ( Fig. 12 View FIGURES 3 13 ).

Measurements. BL 8.5 mm, WH 1.81 mm, PL 1.15 mm, PW 1.54 mm, Ediam 0.40 mm, Edist 0.56 mm.
