Diagnosis. The internal sac of D. pacholatkoi sp. n. is similar to that of D. moxiensis sp. n. and both species have a short and stout phallus. They differ in the shape of apical ring, which is approximately as long as wide in D. pacholatkoi sp. n., larger eyes, and in the colouration of pronotum and elytra.
Description of holotype. Body medium sized, slender, black, pronotum black, elytra red, both body parts covered with red pubescence. Head with short rostrum. Eyes small, interocular distance 1.36 times maximum eye diameter. Antennae slender, weakly compressed, very slightly serrate. Maxillary palpi slender. Pronotum 1.12 times wider than long. Frontal margin widely rounded, frontal angles inconspicuous, posterior angles distinct, lateral margins almost straight, posterior margin convex in the middle. Pronotal disc with frontal longitudinal costa reaching two fifths of pronotum length, transverse mound present in middle of disc. Scutellum black, posterior margin rounded. Elytra slender, flat, each elytron with three longitudinal costae. Costa 1 inconspicuous in apical part. Male genitalia as in fig. 20.
Measurements. BL 6.0 mm, WH 1.26 mm, PL 0.88 mm, PW 0.99 mm, Ediam 0.36 mm, Edist 0.50 mm.
Distribution. Dilophotes pacholatkoi sp. n. is a widely distributed species. It occurs in southern China (Yunnan, Guizhou), Vietnam ( Tonkin), northern Laos, and northeaster Thailand.
Etymology. The specific epithet is a patronym in honour of Mr. P. Pacholátko, a Czech entomologist and collector of the species.
