Urostylis lateralis Walker, 1867: 412 .
DIAGNOSIS: Rostrum reaching to midcoxae; humeral angle with dark punctures, pronotum and scutellum with pale puncture; posterior part of endocorium with dark punctures, exocorium with dark punctures; apex of femur with reddish band ( Figure 1C View FIGURE 1 ); lateral margin of genital capsule slightly rounded, apex relatively thick with setae in dorsal view ( Figure 2C View FIGURE 2 ); median process of genital capsule long, exceeding dorsal wall of capsule in lateral view ( Figure 2I View FIGURE 2 ), tapering to its apex ( Figure 3C View FIGURE 3 ); paramere straight, curved in middle part ( Figure 4C View FIGURE 4 ).
DESCRIPTION: Male: Body oval and elongated, length 12.63–14.32. COLOR. mostly greenish. Head: generally greenish, sometimes reddish; antennae almost brown, first segment with dark line laterally, apex of third, fourth and fifth segment dark brown; rostrum green, apex of fourth rostral segment dark brown. Thorax: pronotum entirely green except for pale anterolateral margin, with pale punctures, humeral angle with dark punctures; scutellum entirely greenish, with pale punctures; hemelytra mostly greenish, with sparsely dark punctures; posterior part of endocorium with dark punctures; exocorium with dark punctures; membrane transparent; legs almost green, sometimes reddish; apex of femur with reddish band; base of tibia with dark band, apical part brown; third tarsal segment brown. Abdomen: entirely green. SURFACE AND VESTITURE: Body slightly glossy, covered with silvery short pubescences; antenna with densely short pubescences; legs with setae. STRUCTURE. Head: width of head longer than length, mandibular plate projected as long as clypeus dorsally; length of antennae longer than length of body, first segment longer than 2 times length of head; rostrum reaching to midcoxae. Thorax: anterior and posterior margin of pronotum rounded; mesal length of scutellum longer than width; lateral margin of hemelytra rounded; legs generally long; femur distinctly thick; first tarsal segment as long as third segment. Abdomen: margin rounded, not reaching to apex of membrane. GENITALIA: lateral margin of genital capsule slightly rounded, apex relatively thick with setae in dorsal view, ( Figure 2C View FIGURE 2 ); median process of genital capsule long, exceeding dorsal wall of capsule in lateral view ( Figure 2I View FIGURE 2 ), process tapering to its apex ( Figure 3C View FIGURE 3 ); paramere straight, curved in middle part ( Figure 4C View FIGURE 4 ).
Female: Body oval and elongated, length 14.33–15.37. COLOR: as in male. SURFACE AND VESTITURE: as in male. STRUCTURE: as in male except for genital segment. GENITALIA: lateral seventh abdominal segment rounded, central seventh abdominal segment convex; gonocoxies 9 small and long, not touching but convergent at apex, extending the same length with laterotergites 9; laterotergites 8 distinct broadly developed, robust and slightly spatulate, distinctly much longer than gonocoxite 8 and laterotergite 9; laterotergites 9 slightly visible, very narrow, touching at base but divergent at apex ( Figure 5C View FIGURE 5 ); spermatheca curved and very simple, sclerotized area short ( Figure 5H View FIGURE 5 ).
