Diagnosis
Head, rostrum unconstricted. Eyes present, larger in male than in female. Antenna 2, peduncle article 1 not ensiform; article 4 with facial setae in one row; article 5 thin and short; flagellum elongated, unreduced in female. Mandible, molar triturative, conical; hump of palp small. Maxilla 1, palp uni-articulate; inner plate naked. Maxilla 2 weakly setose. Maxilliped, outer plate small; apex of palp article 3 not protuberant; dactyl elongated, apical nail distinct, long. Gnathopod 1, coxa weakly expanded anteroventrally to tapering distally. Gnathopods 1–2 subequal, gnathopod 2 slightly stronger than gnathopod 1; carpus with eusirid attachment; propodus, subrectangular, poorly setose, palm acute to obtuse. Pereopod 4, coxa variously expanded, with or without posterodorsal excavation. Pereopod 5, basis slender. Epimeral plate 3 rounded. Urosome dorsally naked. Uropod 1, peduncle elongated, without interramal spike or major displaced spine, apex not combed. Uropod 2, peduncle apically not combed. Telson deeply cleft, with one apical stout seta on each lobe, without dorsal and lateral setae.
