Macromotettix napoensis Deng View in CoL , nom. nov.

Macromotettix longipennis Zheng, 2002 View in CoL [description].

Holotype ♂, Paratypes 4♂, P. R . China: Guangxi: Napo , 18-20 June 2002, collected by Jun CHEN , Wenzhu LI and Jian YAO, IZCAS .

Note. Zhemin Zheng named this species as Macromotettix longipennis in 2002. But he did not notice that he (1998) already described another species named Macromotettix longipennis from Yunnan in China. Macromotettix longipennis from Zheng in 2002 must be renamed as a secondary homonym after art. 57.3. of the International Code of Zoological Nomenclature. Therefore, Macromotettix napoensis Deng n. n. for Macromotettix longipennis Zheng, 2002 (nec. Zheng, 1998) preoccupied.

Differential diagnosis: Anterior margin of pronotum from M. napoensis is slightly arched. This species is related to M. serrifemoralis Zheng & Jiang, 2002 but the ventral margins of middle femora undulate; width of midfemur wider than width of visible part of tegmina.

Etymology. This species was named after the type locality, Napo, Guangxi, China; adjective.

Distribution. P. R. China: Guangxi.
