Current valid name: Piliocolobus rufomitratus ( Peters, 1879) View in CoL

Holotype: ZMB 5545 , male, skull; “ Ortschaft Muniuni am Tana” [north of Mitole , probably near Mnazini at Tana River ], Kenya; collected by G.A. Fischer, 16 September 1878.

Comment: The present name of the mentioned village “Muniuni” at Tana-River could not be found.
