Material examined: Emilia Romagna: I 1375, 1/0/0 slide; Sicilia: Palermitan mountains , Peloritani. I 282, 0/1/0 slide; I 495 Int, 1/0/2 slide; I dp 06, 0/1/0 slide; I dp 56, 1/0/0 slide. 5 sites, 7 specimens .
Previously published records from Italy: Emilia-Romagna ( Gerecke & Di Sabatino 2013); Sardegna ( Gerecke 2014b).
Habitat: Considered hyporheobiont, but most specimens from the study area collected from stream benthos. Middle order streams in the macchia vegetation belt, 260-670 m.
Distribution: Central and southern Europe.
