Previously published records from Italy: Emilia-Romagna ( Cantonati et al. 2020).
Habitat: Hyporheophilous; in the interstitial of low order streams; in the treated area recorded from forest springs and streams, mostly at high elevations, 750-1530 m.
Distribution: Central Europe, Alps, Carpathians, Balkans.
