Material examined: Calabria: I 426, 0/2/0 (0/1/0 slide); I 429, 0/3/0; I 435, 0/1/0; Lazio: I 1291, 1/0/0 slide; Trentino-Alto Adige: I sa 35, 0/3/0. 5 sites, 10 specimens .
Previously published records from Italy: Piemonte ( Monti 1910); Trentino-Alto Adige ( Maglio 1909).
Habitat : Rhithrobiont. Low and middle order streams, in Lazio at 100 m , in Calabria obviously rare and restricted to mountain streams in forest, 950-1350 m .
Distribution: Europe.
