Distribution in Iran. Ardabil ( Rastegar et al. 2012; Khajeh et al. 2014), Qazvin (Ghahari et al. 2011b; Khajeh et al. 2014).
Distribution outside Iran. Croatia and Macedonia ( Papp 2009b; Yu et al. 2012), England, Ireland and Scotland ( Broad et al. 2012 as Chorebus longicornis ), Greece ( Papp 2007a, 2009b; Yu et al. 2012), Hungary ( Papp 2004 b; Papp 2009c; Yu et al. 2012), Spain ( Griffiths 1968; Docavo et al. 1986; Papp 2009b, c; Yu et al. 2012), former Yugoslavia ( Yu et al. 2012).
Host records. Liriomyza asphodeli Spencer, 1957 ( Diptera : Agromyzidae ) ( Griffiths 1968; Yu et al. 2012). It has also been reared from Asphodelus sp. and A. microcarpus Viv. from Spain ( Griffiths 1968).
