Distribution in Iran. Golestan (Ghahari and Fischer 2011b), Isfahan (Ghahari et al. 2011c; Khajeh et al. 2014).
Distribution outside Iran. Widely distributed in the eastern Palaearctic region ( Belokobylskij 1998). Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Russia, Spain ( Yu et al. 2012; Peris-Felipo 2013), Bulgaria, China, Czech Republic, Greece, Switzerland, Turkey, Uzbekistan, former Yugoslavia ( Yu et al. 2012), Iberian Peninsula ( Fischer et al. 2008), Iceland ( Petersen 1956 as Aspilota latinervis ; Yu et al. 2012), Greece ( Papp 2007a), Hungary ( Papp 2008; Yu et al. 2012), Korea ( Papp 2007b; Yu et al. 2012), Serbia, Macedonia ( Papp 2009b; Yu et al. 2012), Sweden ( Thomson 1895 as Alysia aequalis ; Yu et al. 2012; Peris-Felipo 2013).
