This species known from the Kýzýlýrmak drainage in the Anatolian Black Sea basin, the upper Seyhan drainage in the Mediterranean Sea basin, the upper Euphrates and Tigris drainages in Iran, Turkey and potentially in Iraq and Syria ( Freyhof et al., 2022).
