Remarks. This species was identified from Corukpur (Gorakhpur), Behar Province, and the Rapti River, Gorakhpur District, Uttar Pradesh, India. It was reported by Beckman (1962: 126). However, it is likely that the specimen was misidentified because Syria is not part of the species’ natural distribution. The existence of the species must be clarified.
