Synonymy follows Nuss et al. (2003 –2018):

= Ghesquierellana hirsutalis Pinhey, 1975 ;

= Phostria pallas Meyriсk, 1936;

= Polygrammodes hirtusalis borbonica Viette, 1976 .

Material : 9 ex. Mali, Bamako, Ouronina 12°5'39.78"N 8°24'3.16"W, 25.01.– 29.05.2014, leg. Kravchenko et al., 4 ex. same data except the date 15.08.– 07.11.2014 ( SMNH) GoogleMaps .

Distribution: Afrotropical. Comoros, DR Congo, Ethiopia, Gambia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Réunion, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe ( De Prins & De Prins 2018) and Mali (new record).

Host-plants: Moraceae : Ficus carica L., F. mauritiana Lam. , F. mucuso Welw. ex Ficalho, F. sur Forssk., F. trichopoda Backer, F. vallis-choudae Delile; Malvaceae : Gossypium sp. ( Goff 2018).
