Type material. Holotype —Conchology Inc., Cebu, Philippines. The type measures 33.2 mm in length and has a width of 10 mm ( Poppe & Tagaro 2016).
Type locality. Caubian , Philippines [Recent] .
Diagnosis. Shell is smooth and ovately rotund. The aperture is moderately straight, wide and quadrate basally.
The labrum is thickened, and the suture is distinct.
Distribution. HOLOCENE— Philippines, Caubian ( Poppe & Tagaro 2016).
Remarks. Terebellum hubrechti is a rare localised and morphologically stable species in colour and shape.
