Ariadne tubicola Simon, 1893b: 448 (Immature lectotype and lectoparatype from Caracas [10°29'N; 66°55'W], Venezuela, E. Simon leg., deposited in MNHNP-AR 14386 and MNHNP-AR 14387, respectively, designated by Beatty, 1970, examined).
Ariadna tubicola — Petrunkevitch (1911: 131).— Bonnet (1955: 738).— Beatty (1970: 482).— World Spider Catalog (2018).
Note. The type specimens examined are immatures and different from A. tovarensis , also recorded in Venezuela, and only these specimens are available for this locality. Therefore, we here position this species as a nomem dubium, until adult specimens from the type locality could be examined.
