Distribution in Iran: East Azerbaijan (Samin & Bagriacik 2015), Sistan-o Baluchestan ( Gussakovskij 1933; Pulawski 1971).

Remarks: In the original description, this species was recorded as Tachysphex ornatipennis Gussakovskij 1933 from Iran.
