Distribution in Iran: Ardabil, West Azerbaijan ( Gussakovskij 1952).

General distribution: Egypt, Iran, Kazakhstan, South Africa, Spain, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan.

Remarks: This species was first recorded as Tachytes turcomanica Radoszkowski, 1893 by Gussakovskij (1952).
