Remarks: Two subspecies Ectemnius continuus continuus ( Leclercq 1993; Atbaei et al. 2015; Rezaei & Fallahzadeh 2015) and Ectemnius continuus punctatus (Lepeletier de Saint Fargeau et Brullé, 1835) ( Leclercq 1993) have been recorded from Iran.
