Distribution in Iran: East Azerbaijan ( Ghazi-Soltani et al. 2010a, b; Samin & Bagriacik 2016), Fars ( Fallahzadeh et al. 2009), Khorasan-e Razavi ( Ebrahimi 2005, 2014), Qazvin (de Beaumont 1957).

General distribution: Austria, Bulgaria, China, Cyprus, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, India, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, Morocco, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Syria, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan.

Remark: This species was first recorded as Astata stecki de Beaumont, 1942 by de Beaumont (1957).
