Distribution in Iran: Alborz ( Ebrahimi 1993), East Azerbaijan ( Ghazi-Soltani et al. 2010a), Kerman ( Gussakovskij 1933), Khorasan-e Razavi (Ebrahimi 2014), Markazi ( Hadi et al. 2014), Tehran, Zanjan (Ebrahimi 2014).

General distribution: Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Kazakhstan, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan.

Remarks: This species was first recorded as Sphex songaricus by Gussakovskij (1933).
