Distribution in Iran: West Azerbaijan ( Sakenin et al. 2010). General distribution: Iran, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan.

Remarks: The subspecies Mimesa jacobsoni transiliensis Budrys, 1985 has been recorded from Iran ( Sakenin et al. 2010)
