Paratypes: ♂, 5.iii.1998, bloomsdale forest on hill behind C.A. R.I. [Central Agricultural Research Institute] rice field, Port Blair , South Andaman district, Andaman Islands, India, ex.-coll. M. Etymology: The Latin adjective “lucifera ” means “light-bringing”, also in a salutary sense. The name is given representative because to study and photograph dragonflies may lighten gloomy days.
